Today my daughter is 9 years old. I can't believe how big she has gotten. Yesterday we went to an orchard to pick blueberries, which she looks forward to doing every July. Tonight, she's going to her first concert, she loves country music and we're going to the Mohegan Sun to see Keith Urban. On top of going to Yankee Stadium two weeks ago, I'd say she's had a pretty good birthday so far. She's having her party with her friends at a mini golf up in Farmington next weekend, its going to be hard to top all of this next year when she's 10.
Happy Birthday, Lyssie Bear
Ditto from Sarge. Now cough up for the cake and ice cream...

LOve blueberries, a great day I'm sure. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you didn't fall to your death trying to get her a souvenir ball. ; )
ReplyDeleteTeen age years coming up soon.
ReplyDeleteBryan:
ReplyDeleteAlyssa should bring those blueberries to California to sell. I saw a 4 oz. container of them selling for $5.99 at a local supermarket.
Thanks for the birthday wishes and reminders of teenage years. We sat in the third deck at Yankee Stadium so didn't really get a chance at a ball, although Prince did line one just to the side of the foul pole into the 2nd deck.
ReplyDeleteWhit- Pick your own berries at Lyman Orchards in Middlefield. We got 2 quarts for $4. Take the next flight.
