Sarge, I am actually surprised there is no team in the Indy area. I guess people in the area follow the Cleveland Indians or Detroit Tigers....
The state of Connecticut is mostly Red Sox but closer to New York it's all Yankees. Oh, there are a few Mets fans too, but not as much as Yankees and Red Sox.
It's the same with football, half Giants or Jets fans and half Patriots.
If you really want to get pissed off, try watching the San Diego Padres, currently in the cellar. Forbes magazine says the San Diego Padres were the most profitable team in Major League baseball last year. What's going on here?
Yeah, like the Mets are going anyplace. ; )
ReplyDeleteBrewers won their 4th straight last night; all the way up to 20-21! Woohoo!
Until last night the Yanks only had 20 wins too, they were 20-19...up to 21!
ReplyDeleteI'm actually going to see your team in June, I'm taking my daughter to a day game at Yankee Stadium, Yanks/Brewers.
Alas, I am stuck with our Indianapolis Indians and next year - the lowly Evansville Otters...

ReplyDeleteHey, I've got the Kansas City Royals 180 miles northeast, I took my son to see them many years ago, I think it was the only game they ever won.
